Carl brings him in.

"Boss, I got hold of him finally." he drags the man inside my room, his hands tied behind his back, barely able to walk because of the blood oozing out from him.

"Tony, after all the running and hiding, you finally show up. How long did you plan to fool us?" Luke, my right-hand man and brother, asks him.

"TH-theirs no such thing, I wasn't running around... I just needed some time Capo." he begged.

"WELL- looks like your time is over. So, tell me how do you plan to pay back my debt? Will I get my money back or is your life instead?" I ask and Luke holds a gun to his head.

"No Capo please try to understand, I am trying really hard." he cries.

"Keep in check with your last words Tony, you won't get to speak any more after my countdown. Three... two... on-"

"Wait-.... I know how to pay you back." He screamed terrified.

"Hmmm.... interesting."

What ever was happening shook me up to my core....my father's behaviour was one thing but why did those people drag him and shot him? Am I worried? No...... am I shocked? Again, no.
What actually disturbed me is the state of my baby sister.... after she fainted, we bought her to the hospital but still is out of consciousness and I have no idea how long will it take for her to wake up.

"Amelia! What's happening?" Stacy came running towards her and grasped her into a hug.

"I-I....it was dad again and...." Amelia told her about everything that happened.

"That's weird...I mean really weird; your dad was a trouble I knew but he was involved in dangerous stuff like that is.... i don't know, I am stunned. You should hurry and shift somewhere else at this point Amelia. Your place isn't safe for you.'' Stacy was reluctant on asking her to change her address but, due to financial concerns she wasn't able to.

"I know... I'll think about it...my head is really messed up right now." she answered looking into the distance, her eyes welling up at her fate.

"Don't worry, she'll be okay." Stacy stayed there with her throughout the night.

The next morning when doctor came up for the rounds Amelia asked him Cindy's health conditions and when will she be discharged.

"She's getting better, we'll keep her in observation for some more time and then you can take her home." Hearing this relief washed over her.

Since it was Saturday and Stacy had an off, she asked her to look after Cindy while she's at work.

"Amelia... I have to inform you that Dean have been asking for you. You should go visit him." Jesie told her.

"That's sudden.... okay I'll go." She went straight to Dean's cabin and knocked the door."

"Come in." he shouted back.

She entered the room and there was a hot red head sitting on his table hands wrapped all around him.

"Oh, finally you show up." He says in a sarcastic tone.

"I am sorry Dean I know I am late but-" Cutting her off he said. 

"It's okay, you don't have to show up anymore.... here is your resignation letter, please leave your badge on the desk."

"What! But. What for? Why did you suddenly decided to kick me out?" she was furious and shocked. "I need this job Dean.... You know it, how can you do this to me."

"Oh dear.... We have a singer and with you being here and everything that goes around you, I have no interest in tarnishing the name of my cafe so please, LEAVE." He said unbothered by her state.

"What. Do you. mean?" she asked him confused and furious.

"Those guys the other day and threaten me.... they show up for you. Next day you show up late and I find out from someone else that there was a gun shot fired at your place with all this drama I can't afford to have you on my place. so, Leave Amelia" He shouts at her.

"You know what! F*@k you! And F*@k your job and your place." She throws the badge at him and storms out of the room.

She walks out of the cafe dejectedly in pouring rain. She runs and runs in the rain as far as she could, until her feet gave out and she fell down in the mud puddle breaking down in the middle of walking area.

"Why? why does it have to be so tough oh lord!" she asks herself crying.

Her phone rings and Stacy's number flashes on the screen.

"HELLO"

"AMELIA!! It's me.... Cindy is nowhere to be found."
